After a lengthy restoration here at Autotune the 1967 Chinook Mk5 Can-Am car recently returned to the track at the 2005 Goodwood Revival meeting.

After an unexpected Goodwood invite arrived, it was all hands to the pump to get the car finished in time. The car was driven by Autotune MD Anthony Taylor after owner Ray Boissoneau became stuck in the USA on business. The car ran reliably, although the total lack of testing meant the car was never pushed particularly hard.

In the same race was Bentley Le Mans team principal Richard Lloyd who finished well up the field in 9th place after a successful outing in the Autotune tended McLaren M1B.
