Aristocat Sports – Barn Find!!

Ref No: MS1   Price: £5,950

Unique Opportunity!!  Aristocat Sports ‘barn-find’ for restoration.  Originally purchased in 1987, this early Aristocat was completed and then enjoyed for many years by its original builder.  Subsequently laid up in a garage it has not been on the road since around 2015.  Based on an XJ6 the car uses a 4.2 engine with the much sought after triple SU carburetors and the rare four speed manual overdrive gearbox.  The bodywork has at some point been prepared for a paint job that was never completed, similarly, the interior was never finished and both these features can therefore be completed by and tailored to suit the tastes of the new owner.  The car features the one piece flat windscreen and has a biscuit coloured soft top whilst the wheels are the donor XJ6 steel versions.    This car present a unique opportunity for someone looking to put their own personal style ideas into an Aristocat, without taking on a full kit build, whilst also  knowing that the car is already correctly road registered.
