Aristocat Sports
Ref No: PA1 Price: £44,995 o.n.o
This Aristocat Sports is probably one of the best 2+2 Roadster versions built. It has had nearly £50.000 spent on it to create a fabulous looking, usable, all weather roadster with power steering and water proof hood. The current owner purchased it in 2011 after looking at many other examples first, even waiting patiently for a year until the previous owner was willing to sell it! The donor was a 1979 Jaguar (so historic) and was completed in 1995. The high spec includes a 280BHP, VSE rebuilt, 4.2 engine with triple SU Carbs, 5 speed Getrag manual gearbox, purpose made stainless exhaust, knock on wire wheels, specially modified MGB hood to match its unique Spridget screen and specially made side windows. The car features several unique bodywork modifications, these include extended wheel arches and a Spridget windscreen plus quarter lights that give it a very different look to other Aristocat cars. Total mileage to date is just over 16,500 and the car is only for sale as the owner is now reducing their small collection of cars. A powerful, easy to drive, Aristocat which has been driven to Le Mans several times.

Beautiful turn-key Aristocat. Built over a seven year period and completed in 2019 this stunning Old English White car was fastidiously built with many new parts and has only completed around 3000 miles since. Based on a 1985 XJ6 donor car it uses the 4.2 engine on twin SU carbs, completely rebuilt in 2018 it also uses the excellent 123 Electronic Ignition system with a manual choke kit. The automatic gearbox was also fully rebuilt. The steering, brakes and suspension were all totally overhauled with new parts during the build, including the power steering rack. The rear suspension features double adjustable dampers. An alloy fuel tank was purpose made and installed in the car. The red leather interior trim was professionally made and features XJS seats, it is nicely complimented by a wooden dashboard and Moto-lita steering wheel. The car comes with a very weather proof tonneau cover. Please call for further details of this lovely car.

Aristocat Sports

Aristocat Sports Project. Unique Opportunity!! This project consists of an un-started Aristocat kit package, sadly health issues meant the original builder was unable to begin the assembly process and it has now returned to us here Autotune. Comprising galvanised Aristocat chassis, new springs, shocks, alloy panels, radiator, fuel tank, etc it has all the important parts to begin a kit build. The original builder had done all the hard work of stripping down the XJ6 donor car and all the donor parts are therefore present ready to begin re-conditioning and assembling onto the Aristocat chassis. The running gear is a 4.2 litre twin SU carburettor motor with Automatic transmission. There is no bodywork and so a buyer can chose a new shell in a colour of their choice. This project is quite attractive as it offers the builder the opportunity to build his own Aristocat without the need to purchase and strip down + dispose of a donor vehicle, whilst also offering a considerable cost saving over a current new kit.
