Autotune were lucky to be back at the amazing Goodwood Revival meeting again last weekend. We took four cars this time – Canadian Jay Esterer with his Chinook Mk2, American Ray Boissoneau’s similar Chinook and our own McLaren M1B and M6B.

In the Whitsun Trophy race Jay finished an excellent 3rd overall despite starting low down the grid due to a square tyre in qualifying. Andrew Wareing steered Rays Chinook to a great 15th and Anthony Taylor was 22nd in his M1B.

For the Bruce McLaren tribute we had the M6B out in Anthonys hands on Friday and Sunday whilst on Saturday we were honoured to have Wally Willmot drive the car. Wally was Bruces right hand man at both Cooper and McLaren in the 1960s. He thoroughly enjoyed his drive, only complaining about how slow the parade had to be !
