Aristocat Sports
Ref No: JJ1 Price: £ 27,500
Aristocat Sports model, ready to drive away and enjoy this summer! A lovely British Racing Green example which features the rare detachable hard top with drop head screen option giving the FHC look.
Mechanically, the car is based on a galvanised chassis and uses the 4.2 engine from the 420G with triple SU carburettors. It has recently benefited from extensive works at Autotune including the installation of an electronic ignition system, new fuel pump and a reconditioned Getrag five speed manual gearbox. Also fitted at the time were new rear dampers. In recent years it has also had new front springs, reconditioned brake calipers, new brake discs, etc, all fitted by Autotune.
The interior features green leather bucket seats combined with a cream leather dash, interior panels and carpets with the instruments and switchgear styled in the classic Jaguar MK2 layout.
The British Racing Green body retains its gelcoat finish, whilst the knock-on Jaguar wire wheels with the heavy bumpers from a Mk2 create the 140 FHC look. The car also features a lovely private registration number.
The car will be supplied with a full MOT and can currently be viewed at Autotune.
